Vienna Game: Vienna Gambit

The Vienna Gambit is 1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 Nf6 3. f4. White offers the f-pawn with the queen's knight already developed, which changes the details of the King's Gambit. Black decides whether to take on f4 or to strike in the center. A separate family page covers the Max Lange branch of the same gambit.
