What stays on your device

The puzzle trainer stores a target rating and a streak in localStorage under keys that start with pp-solver. The opening trainer stores your saved lines and their schedule under pp-repertoire. Clearing site data in the browser deletes them. They are not sent to PuzzlePawn.

Analytics

If the site is built with a Google Analytics measurement id, the browser loads Google's gtag script and sends page views plus practice events (puzzle_start, puzzle_solve, puzzle_fail, line_complete, line_miss). Those events include a puzzle id or a line id and a rating from the source data. They do not include an account, because there is none. If no measurement id is set, the script is not added.

Advertising

If the site is built with a Google AdSense client id, the ad script is in the page head. A manual ad unit appears only when an ad slot id is set as well. Google may set cookies and use them under its own policy. If no client id is set, the script is not added.

Server logs

The host that serves the site can keep ordinary request logs (address, path, user agent, time). Those logs are used to run the site. They are not a user profile.
