Opera mate

Opera mate is named for the Opera Game. A rook delivers mate on the edge, a bishop protects the mating piece, and the king's own pawn blocks a flight square.

The bishop does the quiet work of protecting the rook. Look for a rook check on the seventh or eighth rank that the bishop already defends.
